Our litigation team regularly assists our clients with commercial and other civil litigation claims. We purposefully label this department as "Dispute Resolution and Litigation" because most cases settle out of Court through negotiation or Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) avenues such as mediation. Our team aims to maximise the return to our clients, which sometimes means "thinking outside the box". With our practical advice our clients are well aware of all of their options.
Where Alternative Dispute Resolution fails, our team will proceed to formal litigation. This includes prosecuting or defending claims at Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Magistrates Court of Victoria, and larger claims conducted through the County Court of Victoria, Supreme Court of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia.
We regularly act as litigation agents for other legal firms outside the Geelong area.
